Honig is a family business, with management in the hands of Michael Honig, business development with Steven Honig, cousin Regina Weinstein managing all marketing and retail operations, and Stephanie Honig handling international sales. The family is committed to protecting the environment, developing their employees, and supporting their community. Their vineyard was one of the first to receive the California Sustainable Winegrowing certification, and the winery is run on solar energy.   Located in Rutherford, in the heart of the Napa Valley, the Honig’s vineyard is perfectly suited to growing Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Kristin Belair focuses production exclusively on these two varietals, handcrafting the wines and then blending them for complexity and balance.   When they are not out walking in their sustainably farmed vineyards, the Honigs can be found dressing their staff in costumes for yet another of their famous postcard productions, demonstrating that while they take winemaking very seriously, they don’t take themselves that way.
